Freelancing @ Zeiss

From January 2020 until June 2021 I am supporting Zeiss Microscopy in their user experience team in different projects concerned with Electron Microscopy:

• Migration of existing functionality, fragmented into several pieces of software, into a new UX framework with focus on more easy usability and  consistency of interaction patterns.
• Solutions for new features, not sported in any of the existing softwares in Zeiss’ portfolio
• Constant lookout and proposal for possible framework overarching UX improvements

Tasks included…

• Analysis of existing solutions and checking fit for new framework
• User research with user interviews and task flow analysis
• Concept drafting with wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Usability testing
• Fine detailed concept for implementation
• Support during implementation to figure out edge cases
• Delivery inside a SCRUM setup
